Hello and welcome to another quick Credit Repair Tip. I’m your host, Denise Cestone, a former Credit Bureau Executive, Author, Mentor, and Founder of IncreaseYourCreditScore.org. I enjoy helping our clients achieve their goals of having outstanding credit quickly. .
If you’re looking to improve a low credit score, you might need to challenge claims that say you owe money. If you can prove these claims are false, your credit score could get a nice boost. This is because the creditor will have to update your account.
Disputing a credit score isn’t about making wild guesses. Instead, you’ll need to write a statement and provide evidence to support your case. Then, send this to each of the three credit reporting bureaus. Subsequently, they’ll get back to you and let you know if they need more information to finish their investigation.
